I was invited to speak at the Musiccare Conference 2022 that took place in New Westminster – a Conference organized by Room 217 and mainly addressing music therapists. This was a very unusual crowd for me, and it was great to be able to present some preliminary findings from the research we are doing on organizational resilience models in the performing arts sector, in partnership with the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra and in collaboration with Susana Fong from the BC Alliance for Arts and Culture and Nina Horvath from the Coastal Jazz and Blues Society.
