To close the year, I received an unexpected award: The SFU Faculty of Communication, Art and Technology gives out Excellence Awards at the end of each year with a variety of categories for Alumni, Graduate Students, Staff and Faculty. I was nominated for and got selected as “Researcher of the Year”. Congratulations to all fellow award winners!
